"Learning about Tokyo's water" is an important academic theme for elementary(primary) school students. The western Tama area up to the Okutama area, where Crusoe resides, used to be the main source for Tokyo's water supply until the 30's of the Showa era (1955-1964). This resulted in many waterworks facilities and power generation facilities focused in the Tama River area, so there are many opportunities for social studies tours.

Crusoe's rafting tours start from the water outlet of Tamagawa Daisan water power station, which uses the water from Lake Shiromaru. Through our tours, you can experience the coldness and clarity of the waters, and really experience "Tokyo's Waters" as a social studies tour.

In addition to that, by working together and overcoming the rapids, the students can foster a sense of cooperation and proactivity within a group, and realize the importance of the environment by being active in nature.

Consider Crusoe Rafting as a part of the plan for school trips, social studies trips, or field trips.
